"Our local park would not allow us to have our Tashlich gathering there as we normally would, so the community relocated to a congregant's home and we asked folks to pick up trash in their own neighborhoods."

Reverse Tashlich

The Largest Jewish community waterfront cleanup

Thank you • GRacias • Obrigada • გმადლობთתודה • MulTumesc

On six continents, in 12 countries, Jewish communities committed to participate in the 5th Annual Reverse Tashlich.  More than 3000 people began 5783 by coming together to remove "sins" (man-made debris) from local beaches, waterfronts, parks, and marinas, as an expression of their Jewish values.

Thank you to the Maurice A. and Thelma P. Rothman Family Foundation, the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation, and the Joseph Alexander Foundation for making

Repair the Sea and Reverse Tashlich possible.

Four days before Reverse Tashlich, Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida

our hearts go out to temple judea in Fort Myers,
and our communities impacted and unable to join the event due to the storm.

This hurricane is a striking indication of why Reverse Tashlich is important.

Every piece of trash removed creates healthier ecosystems and a healthier planet.

Thank you to everyone who joined the
5th Annual Reverse Tashlich.
