Netilat Yadayim is the daily ritual of washing our hands in the morning and before we eat. We don't use soap with Netilat Yadayim because this ritual is not about washing for hygienic purposes. It's about washing for spiritual purposes. We use water for this ritual because water is life. Every living being on the planet depends on water. Despite this fact, humans dump approximately 14 million tons of plastic into waterways around the world every year, which translates to about 38,350 tons of plastic entering the water every day. (1)
Repair the Sea created this Netilat Yadayim Cup made from recycled plastic water bottles, to raise awareness and teach us that just as we purify ourselves every day through this ancient ritual, we must remember to do our part to help purify the water of the world by reducing our utilization of single-use plastic products.
Dimensions are 5 5/8" H x 6" W x 5" D.

Made in-house by Tikkun HaYam from recycled plastic water bottles. Each Netilat Yadayim Cup removes 4 plastic water bottles from the environment.
Netilat Yadayim Cup
A million plastic bottles are purchased every minute.
These water bottles are discarded and end up in landfills or our ocean.
It is estimated that by 2050, 12 billion metric tons of plastic will end up in landfills and the ocean will contain more plastic by weight than fish.
Keep a single use water bottle out of the Sea by purchasing this unique Tikkun HaYam Netilat Yadayim Cup.
Because these Netilat Yadayim Cups are made in-house one at a time, individual products are not identical, and unique imperfections are to be expected.
