Submit your application for our Spring Break trip.
Some of the most pressing issues addressing our oceans today are the decline of apex predators, and accumulation of marine debris. During spring break we will learn about, and fight against, both of these issues. Exploring the Eastern Coast of Florida, we'll come face to fin with sharks in Jupiter, and tackle marine debris as we make our way down to the southern tip of the Florida Keys.
We'll explore coastal ecosystems, restoration and education efforts by other organizations, and take a hands-on approach to fighting for our oceans. This trip isn't for the faint of heart, we'll be working hard and making a difference.
Six nights, seven days, seven dives, six clean up locations, Project AWARE Shark Specialty, diving with UMiami Scubi Jews, Water Torah with Rabbi Ed, exploration of Florida's best eco-tourism spots, 25 hours of service work, and much more. Don't miss out. Apply!
Program costs $490. Rental gear costs an additional $65.
Cost includes lodging, transportation, vegetarian food, dives, and all activities.
Space is limited. Application does not guarantee acceptance. Applications close Dec. 30, 2018.
